Food Intolerance, offered by IEDNC Inc., is an online-based course designed to enhance expertise in the vast realm of food allergies, intolerances, sensitivities and more. Through a series of modules and interlinking units, learn about the prevalence, different types of allergies, intolerances and sensitivities the body can have, along with numerous treatment and prevention strategies for such. This course covers topics like lactose intolerance, exercise-induced anaphylaxis and allergy testing amongst many other concepts using a comprehensive approach.

Simone Welvering

Simone is a Registered Dietitian living in Canada since 2015, before that, she was residing in South Africa where she obtained her degree in Nutrition. She has been working at several clinics throughout the GTA where she specializes in the treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and hypertension. In 2019, Simone obtained a designation as a Certified Gene Practitioner where she applies the results from genetic DNA tests to her nutrition care plan. Simone is of Portuguese heritage and is familiar with both Portuguese and African foods, and is fluent in both Portuguese and Afrikaans as her second and third languages after English. Simone is a passionate Dietitian who is dedicated to giving her patients the best possible care. She uses a patient-focused approach and has produced multiple success stories with her patients. In April 2019, Simone was awarded the Dietitian of the Month at Nutritionwize Consulting Services.
